Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit

Conditions

* Please respect the environment, neighbours, and nature as we are living in a sensitive biosphere.
* No loud music after 22h00.
* No music played from cars, please.
* Please put garbage bags in the wooden bin provided outside. Garbage collection is on Wednesdays so please put the bags on the driveway should your stay fall on a Wednesday.
* Please do not remove bath towels and use them for swimming at the beach.
* Do not flush any foreign objects down the toilets. No condoms, tampons or wipes please!
* Take care that floors can be slippery when wet.
* The tap water in Betty’s Bay is safe for human consumption.
* Please always use water sparingly.
* For an after-swim rinse, please use the outside shower which also has hot water. Excess beach sand may clog the septic system.
* The light in the first bathroom works with a sensor and will automatically switch on and off. There is no switch for this bathroom.
* No smoking inside the cottage, please.
* Please put the fire out when you are finished with a braai or social around the fire, especially when it’s windy.
* Please note that sometimes we have baboons visiting in the area. Please make sure to close doors when leaving and do not feed them.
